Living Word & Living Waters (LWLW)

A small group of prayer warriors started a meeting in 2006 at Alvin, Texas inside a Lyondellbasell Chemical Plant.  The Bible Study and Prayer Group initiated by current Board members Eddie Khem and David Davis, among others.  Later, the group moved to LaPorte, Texas Lyondellbasell Plant by current Board members Eddie Khem, David Davis, and Lee Hall.  After a few years, the group moved to a Denny’s in 2013 located in Pasadena, Texas along Highway 225 and GSD USA, Inc. company.

While the group were at Denny’s and GSD, the current Board members Eddie, David Davis, Lee Hall with Donna Hall, and Matt Sitka agreed to registered LWLW ministry in 2014 as a non-profit organization.  Today, LWLW is exempt from Federal Income Tax under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)3 as public charity status with code 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). We are qualified to receive tax deductible under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.  This means your donation is 100% tax deductible.

As Eddie traveled back to his homeland in Cambodia and saw the need for fresh water and knowledge in 2012, the ministry was born.  The ministry has grown and currently has 30 pastors – 15 in Cambodia, 12 in India, 2 in Nepal, and 1 in the Philippines.

Currently, the group of prayer warriors and Board members are meeting around 7:00 AM weekly for Prayer, Bible Study, Fellowship, Praise, and Worship at ReCon Engineering Inc. company on Tuesday at 550 Fannin Street Beaumont, Texas 77701 in 8th Floor Conference Room and Thursday in 2nd Floor Conference Room at 4040 Red Bluff Rd. Pasadena, Texas 77503.

Together with donations from various people and businesses, we have purchased many Jesus’ Mobiles to help villagers to get to clinics/hospitals, schools, and worship areas, dug many wells, built bridges to help people to get to remote areas, built many worship areas, fed thousands of people in the mentioned countries, and brought many to be baptized in the name of Jesus.

The name of LWLW ministry is based on:

John 13-14, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
